SAFELINK LIMITED WARRANTY*
With the purchase of your Safelink System, you will receive a two-year (2) Limited Warranty. With this Limited Warranty, if the Registered Vehicle is stolen and not recovered within 60 days from the time the theft is recorded in the national stolen vehicle database, SafeLink will reimburse the cost of the Unit up to $995 based on the purchase price of the Unit or up to a $5,000 credit towards the purchase of a replacement vehicle given that the Registered Customer will purchase the same replacement vehicle from the same dealership which our product was purchased. The Safelink Limited Guarantee is in accordance with the terms & conditions listed below. This is a one-time benefit and payment shall be the complete and final remedy available to you.
THIS AGREEMENT IS A PRODUCT WARRANTY AND IS NOT INSURANCE. IT IS NOT SUBJECT TO STATE INSURANCE LAWS BUT IS SUBJECT TO STATE LAW CONCERNING WARRANTIES.

DEFINITIONS
  1. “System Activation” means your vehicle was stolen in a Safelink coverage area and reported stolen to the law enforcement agency having jurisdiction and the law enforcement entered the theft in the national stolen vehicle database
  2. “Vehicle” or “Registered Vehicle” means the vehicle in which the Safelink system was first installed
  3. “Warranty” means the Safelink Limited Warranty
  4. “We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Safelink” means Safelink Theft Recovery
  5. “You”, “Your”, “Registered Customer” means the retail customer who owns the vehicle
  6. “Party” or “Parties” means the retail customer who owns the vehicle and Safelink
  7. “Unit” means the Safelink System
  8. “Agreement” means the entire document.
THEFT PROTECTION GUARANTEE AGREEMENT – TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. The maximum Agreement period on new and used Vehicles is twenty four (24) months or two (2) years. The Agreement commences on the original date of Vehicle purchase.
  2. The Vehicle will be determined to be unrecoverable if the Vehicle is not found within 60 days from the date the police report was filed and when the registered physical damage insurance company issues full and final theft settlement payment to the Registered Customer.
  3. Safelink will not pay for claims if the Registered Vehicle was left unlocked or if the keys were left inside the Vehicle. No coverage is provided for losses resulting from deception, in fact or in law or illegal acts of the Registered Customer whether acting alone or in collusion with others.
  4. If the Registered Vehicle is found or returned after the insurance company has deemed it as a total loss or law enforcement recovers the Registered Vehicle and the benefit has been paid, the Registered Vehicle belongs to the insurance company and/or Safelink
  5. This Agreement provides coverage for losses sustained while the Registered Vehicle described in this Agreement is within the United States of America its territories and/or possessions.
  6. Arbitration –This Agreement requires the Parties to arbitrate all claims that the Parties may have against each other. In Arbitration, each side in the dispute presents its case to a neutral third-party called an arbitrator, rather than to a judge or jury. You and Safelink are entitled to be represented by your own legal counsel in the arbitration. After reviewing the evidence and considering the arguments of the Parties, the arbitrator will issue a written decision. There will be no trial by a judge or jury, and no appeal of the arbitrator’s decision, except as provided by law.
  7. Change in Vehicle Ownership – Safelink reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately upon receiving notice that the Registered Vehicle in which the Unit is installed has been sold, transferred, repossessed or otherwise taken from Your custody or control. Your failure to advise Us of any loss of rights to the Registered Vehicle and/or Unit for any reason will result in immediate termination of this Agreement.
  8. Severability – If any term hereof is contrary to, prohibited by or deemed invalid under applicable laws or regulations, such term will be deemed omitted to the extent prohibited or invalid but the remainder of the terms and this Agreement will not be invalidated and will be given effect so far as possible.

HOW TO FILE FOR A CLAIM: In the event of a claim, the Registered Customer must provide all of the following documentation to:

  1. Copy of the Agreement
  2. Copy of the Registered Customer’s insurance company settlement check
  3. Copy of the Vehicle registration
  4. Copy of the police report(s)
  5. Copy of the Registered Customer’s insurance company proof of loss showing the date of loss, specified cause of loss and gross settlement figures
Additionally, any person seeking benefit from this Agreement must:
  1. Notify the police within 24 hours of the discovery of theft
  2. Report the claim to Safelink within 30 days of the insurance settlement date
  3. Cooperate with Safelink to the investigation and settlement of the claim including but not limited to the submission of additional documents and/or recorded statements or
    examination under oath.

Please be certain that all of the above documents are totally legible, otherwise, limited warranty payment will be suspended until legible copies can be obtained. If required by Lien Holder, all claims settlement payment will include: Lien Holder and Customer to payee
STATE DISCLOSURES
California: This agreement is a product Warranty and not insurance, it is not subject to state insurance laws but is subjective to state law concerning Warranties. To be eligible for this Warranty, the Warranty Holder must have comprehensive insurance coverage on the vehicle that is protected by the anti-theft device. Benefits are payable upon the theft of the vehicles. Safelink will pay the benefit set forth under the “Limited Guarantee” on the front page.
 
*THIS AGREEMENT IS NON-CANCELABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE BY THE WARRANTY HOLDER UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY STATE OR LIEN HOLDER
